Join Dr. Kathryn Wells to explore the power and simplicity of the seasonal movement of energy!

Combining her Chinese Medicine clinical practice with thousands of years of observational experiences she'll share practical and easily applicable tips and tools to immediately enhance daily living.

Each three-hour workshop includes a basic overview of Chinese medicine plus three distinct, but interconnected, sections. Each section builds on the last one and allows space for questions, internal reflection, and daily application:

  • 1. Deep exploration of the gifts and expressions of the season and how they manifest in humans – and how to draw inspiration from nature to thrive in each season.
  • 2. Qi gong to explore the simple & accessible movements in an embodied way and to deepen our understanding of the energy of the season.
  • 3. Meditation and optional auricular acupuncture to enhance your learning and allow space for internal reflection and stillness.

Handouts capture the essence of our time with space for your notes to reflect on over time. Curated nibbles and sips are provided to showcase simple ways foods, flavors, or rituals enhance the spirit of the season.

About the facilitator – Dr. Kathryn Wells is a doctor of acupuncture, qi gong teacher, yoga practitioner, and lover of all things natural. This offering is a thorough distillation of her many years of studying, practicing, and observing nature through the ancient wisdom of Classical Five Element Acupuncture. She brings her clinical experience to life in the workshop to help you thrive through the year by harnessing the power of observation, intentional movement, and simple life shifts. Just like the seasons, we are all different – and just like the seasons, we all play a vital role in this thing called life. Let’s thrive together!

Restorative Reiki & Nidra

Sunday, May 25th 3-4:30pm ~ $20

Relax, unwind and find balance in body and mind. This 90 minute session begins with a unique blend of restorative yoga and Reiki. The floor based yoga opens your body & quiets the nervous system while the optional Reiki (a Japanese energy healing modality) aids in balancing energy. Once you find maximum comfort, gently sink into an even deeper state of relaxation through a guided yoga nidra meditation. This $20 specialty class is suitable for everyone.

Tanner brings this 90-minute class designed to harness the transformative power of breath within your yoga practice. We’ll open with slow + gentle movements to prepare the body for stillness, then explore various breathwork techniques, from finding, feeling, and being with the breath to incorporating specific breathwork practices. This is a time to foster a deeper sense of presence, awareness, and overall well-being. Class is suitable for everyone. Cost is $20 | Class packages not valid
